This section of med-owl.com is for discussing herbs, foods and supplements that have antiviral properties, with special emphasis on alternative treatements for Avian flu (H5N1 and related viruses). Avian influenza involves more than a sparrow with snuffles; when it jumps to humans, it has killed 30% of those infected. And there is real concern that this virus could cause an epidemic or a global pandemic.
